Who we are
North Knight Software is an agile team of programmers located in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our team creates custom software to solve specific needs: from web and iPhone applications, to robotics and touchscreens. We build unique and cost-effective software by constantly investigating new technology and tools. Our philosophy is to work closely with clients, ensuring the software we create matches their needs – even as those needs change. In short, we're computer science nerds for hire.
Featured Project — Tour for the Cure
Working with MT&L Public Relations, we implemented the Tour for the Cure website. This includes blogging functionality, content management, and an automated method for turning location information in a spreadsheet into a map of the tour route. We also created touchscreen survey kiosks for use on the bus. The kiosks have custom animations, an on-screen keyboard, and an easy method for transferring data to a USB key.
